#1 Past Team Experiences

The team I worked with was from my work place which is a fun park.

What made the team exceptional was that we all had different ideas, so we had good and bad. We put a few ideas together to come up with one main good one. Everyone politely listened to each other’s ideas to hear what they had in mind. We made sure to cover the pros and cons of each idea and made sure to think about the safety policies for each idea. We each had different roles assigned to us. My role was to find the materials.

We had to come up with a new idea for the kid’s playground. We came up with many different ideas such as a treehouse, zip line, new slide etc.

Many members were committed to the team as we went home to research the cost of materials and to find a supplier. We rang different businesses asking for prices in are free time. We would also meet outside of work to discuss it what we have found out and what else needed to be researched.

My past experience with an unsuccessful team was in a group in college. We failed as there was more than one dominant person. So they both thought their idea was much better. But we also had people that were the opposite of dominant and wouldn’t share their ideas because they were too scared to. No one knew their role in the group so it ended up nothing being done.
